Description
Participants will begin to explore the world of graphic design through Adobe Illustrator as they work with vector graphics to create logos, icons and illustrations. Participants will learn how to use the different tolls available such as: shape tools, gradient and colour tools, and text tools while applying what they have learned by creating their very own logo.
Participants will continue to learn about graphic design through artistic expression and visual communication and while using Adobe Illustrator learn how to use the cut, combine, divide, and pathfinder tools. Participants will work through a variety of projects to develop their digital art skills, design principles, and gain the confidence to create stunning illustrations and designs.
Requirements: Participants must have a Google or Facebook account to log into the software.
Recommended Equipment: Personal USB Key to save work (note that computers are shared student accounts).
