Description
This program will introduce you to the basic skills of kayaking. Participants will learn efficient paddling, proper balance in the boat, and how to stay safe on the water. This is a great introduction and confidence builder for those preparing for the open waters. All equipment will be provided.
Due to the duration length of this program, participants under ten (10) years of age do not need to be accompanied in the program, unless otherwise stated. However, parents/guardians are expected to remain at the program location for its duration in the event their immediate assistance is required.
Prerequisite: No swimming ability required, but participants must be comfortable in deep water with a lifejacket.
This program occurs outdoors, please dress for the weather. This program may be cancelled due to the weather.
