Description
This program will teach the fundamentals of ball hockey. Participants will learn the rules, offensive and defensive positioning, passing, shooting and ball control. Technical skills will be taught through instruction as well as game play.
Required Equipment: Ice hockey stick, ice hockey gloves and clean running shoes are also mandatory for all participants. Canadian Standard Association (CSA) certified hockey helmets with full facemasks are mandatory for all participants.
Due to the duration length of this program, participants under ten (10) years of age do not need to be accompanied in the program. However, parents/guardians are expected to remain at the program location for its duration in the event their immediate assistance is required.
Please note that this program will occur on the concrete Arena Floor. This program area is not temperature controlled, thus will not have air conditioning.
