Description

Current Lifesaving Society Standard First Aid (SFA) award holders are eligible to recertify their certification once, as long as they attend a recertification course within 3 years of the original certification date of issue. If award holders have already attended a recertification course, they must attend a full Standard First Aid (2-day) course to renew their certification. Individuals may renew their certification by alternating recertification (1-day) and full (2-day) courses. Award holders who hold certifications from other agencies must recertify through the original certifying body. Candidates must provide proof of identification (valid government ID with full legal name, and birth date) and proof of the following prerequisites: Lifesaving Society Standard First Aid (from an original course) (within 3 years of the date of issue), on the first day of the course. Required Materials: The Canadian First Aid Manual is required and available at the time of purchase.
