Description
Adhering to the Lifesaving Society standards, swimmers will develop a better technique over 75 m swims of each stroke. They tackle lifesaving sport skills in a lifesaving medley, timed object support and rescue with a buoyant aid. First aid focuses on assessment of unconscious victims, treatment of victims in shock and obstructed airway procedures. Skill based drills develop a strong lifesaving foundation.
Due to the duration length of this program, participants under ten (10) years of age do not need to be accompanied in the program, unless otherwise stated. However, parents/guardians are expected to remain at the program location for its duration in the event their immediate assistance is required.
Prerequisite: Splash 7 (6 to 13 Years)
