Description

Adhering to the Lifesaving Society standards, swimmers will jump into deeper water, and learn to be comfortable falling sideways into the water wearing a lifejacket. In Splash 2B they'll be able to support themselves at the surface without an aid, learn whip kick, swim 15 m on their front and back, and be introduced to flutter kick interval training (4 x 12 m). Due to the duration length of this program, participants under ten (10) years of age do not need to be accompanied in the program, unless otherwise stated. However, parents/guardians are expected to remain at the program location for its duration in the event their immediate assistance is required. Prerequisite: Splash 2A (6 to 13 Years)
