Description
Campers will work towards achieving their babysitting certificate as well as their Standard First Aid with CPR-C.
The Effective Babysitting course covers such topics as: becoming a successful babysitter, caring for children from three months to school-aged, the behaviour and misbehaviour of children, handling emergencies, caring for a sick or injured child, prevention and basic First Aid and creative children's activities. Campers that attended all classes will receive their Babysitting certificate, recognized by The Canada Safety Council.
The Lifesaving Society Standard First Aid course provides comprehensive training covering all aspects of first aid and CPR and requires a successful passing grade on the exam in order to receive certification.
Required Equipment: Pen and notebook.
Campers may also participate in various camp activities such as cooperative games, sports, water activities and crafts. These activities vary by location.
Camp hours are from 9:00am-4:00pm.
Before and After Care (7:30-9:00am and 4:00-6:00pm) is available for an extra fee.
Late pick-up fees may apply.
Campers may be grouped based on age and ability.

Campers must bring a nut-free lunch and snacks, a reusable water bottle and wear comfortable outdoor/weather appropriate clothing.
Have all items labelled with child's name. Leave all valuables at home, the City of Brampton is not responsible for lost or stolen items.
