Description

Participants will develop snowplows and parallel stopping, forwards and backwards crossovers, and turns. Prerequisites: Skating Adult 1 or Skating Teen 1 or Skating 2 Required Equipment: All participants must wear single bladed skates and a Canadian Standard Association (CSA) certified hockey helmet. Please ensure skates are sharpened. Double-bladed skates are not permitted. Recommended Equipment: Facemasks are strongly recommended for all participants. Mittens or gloves, and warm clothes including snow pants or slush pants are highly recommended.
