Description
In this introduction to painting program, participants will discover and experiment with various painting mediums such as acrylic, watercolour and tempera while learning foundational skills such as colour theory, brush techniques and paint handling along with artistic concepts such as composition, textures, lighting, and shadows. As pieces are created participants will express their creative side while learning technical techniques such as layering, blending and perspective.
Due to the duration length of this program, participants under ten (10) years of age do not need to be accompanied in the program. However, parents/guardians are expected to remain at the program location for its duration in the event their immediate assistance is required.
