Description
This course is designed to teach candidates the four components of water rescue, including judgement, knowledge, skills, and fitness. This course will challenge candidates mentally and physically though items such as swimming and lifesaving strokes, entries and removals, and rescues. The endurance swim for Bronze Medallion is 400m within 12 minutes.
Candidates must provide proof of identification (valid government ID with full legal name, and birth date) and proof of the following prerequisites: 13 years of age by the last day of the course OR Bronze Star certification (does not need to be current), on the first day of the course.
Required Materials: Canadian Lifesaving Manual, and Bronze Medallion Workbook will be charged at the time of registration.
