The In-Person Recertification Course offers a comprehensive refresher on key competencies covered in the Instructor, Coach, Examiner, and Examiner Mentor training programs. It provides participants with four required points toward leadership recertification.
While successful completion of the course is a critical step, it does not automatically result in recertification. Candidates must still complete the full recertification process to regain certified status.
Attendance: 100% attendance and Participation is required to be successful in this course.
Proof of Identity: Participants are required to present valid government-issued photo identification to the course instructor at the start of the course. Acceptable forms of ID include a Birth Certificate, Driver’s License, Passport, Permanent Resident Card, or other official government-issued identification.
Prerequisites: Current or expired Lifesaving Society instructor (any), coach, examiner (any), or examiner mentor.
Required Materials: Candidates should bring the Award Guide(s) that relates to their level of certification, Instructor Manual and Examiner Handbook (if applicable)
