Description
The Emergency First Aid Instructor Transition Course is designed for current Emergency First Aid Instructors who wish to become certified First Aid Instructors. This course provides candidates with the knowledge, skills, and resources required to organize, plan, and deliver Lifesaving Society First Aid programs up to and including Intermediate First Aid.
Important: This course includes a mandatory pre-course assignment that must be completed before attending.
Prerequisites:
- Minimum 18 years of age
- Emergency First Aid Instructor certification
- Successful completion of the 2026 Online First Aid Update Course - Visit e-lifesaving.ca to complete
- Lifesaving Society (or other approved WSIB agency) Standard First Aid or Intermediate First Aid certification
- Completion of the mandatory pre-course assignment
