The National Lifeguard Instructor course equips candidates with a deep understanding of the principles, practices, and standards that form the foundation of the National Lifeguard program. Through interactive learning, participants explore effective teaching methods, coaching strategies, and evaluation techniques tailored to National Lifeguard candidates. The course emphasizes leadership, communication, and the ability to deliver engaging, high-quality training. Upon successful completion, instructors are certified to teach the National Lifeguard option(s) they currently hold.
Attendance: 100% attendance and Participation is required to be successful in this course.
Proof of Identity: Participants are required to present valid government-issued photo identification to the course instructor at the start of the course. Acceptable forms of ID include a Birth Certificate, Driver’s License, Passport, Permanent Resident Card, or other official government-issued identification.
Prerequisites: National Lifeguard (any option), Lifesaving Instructor.
