The Examiner Course prepares experienced instructors to evaluate and certify candidates in the Lifesaving Society’s training programs with confidence and consistency. Participants receive specialized training in examination standards, evaluation techniques, and the application of the Society’s performance criteria. As a key step toward delivering advanced-level programs, this course ensures examiners uphold the integrity and quality of certification.
Attendance: 100% attendance and Participation is required to be successful in this course.
Proof of Identity: Participants are required to present valid government-issued photo identification to the course instructor at the start of the course. Acceptable forms of ID include a Birth Certificate, Driver’s License, Passport, Permanent Resident Card, or other official government-issued identification.
Prerequisites: Lifesaving Instructors or First Aid Instructors
Required Materials: Examiner handbook, and award guides for stream the examiner participants wish to examine.
