Enrollment opens June 2, 2026 at 8:00 a.m.Bronze Star is an engaging and challenging 1 hour class, with a ratio of 10:1, designed to prepare young swimmers for the Bronze Medallion program. It emphasizes lifesaving skills, swimming proficiency, and personal fitness, while fostering water-smart confidence and leadership. Participants develop problem-solving and decision-making abilities both individually and in teams, learn CPR, and practice essential rescue techniques. The course includes a timed 400 meter swim, a 100 meter individual medley, and object carries, helping candidates build endurance and strength. Bronze Star is ideal for swimmers who have completed Swimmer 9 and is required for those under 13 before advancing to Bronze Medallion.
