Description
Advanced preschoolers ages 3-5 will build confidence and independence in the water in this 30 minute class by learning to perform solo jumps into deeper water and safely exit on their own, often while wearing a PFD. They will practice side roll entries, open their eyes underwater, and develop foundational swimming skills including a short 3 to 5 meter swim on their front. Additionally, they will work on gliding and kicking on their side, as well as lateral rollovers from front to back and back to front, and flutter kicking over a distance of 5 meters.
