Description

Build confidence, independence, and everyday know-how! The RAD (Recreation for Adults with Disabilities) Club Life Skills program gives adults 18+ the opportunity to learn and practice essential life skills in a supportive, social, and inclusive environment. Each session focuses on practical topics such as cooking basics, money management, safety, personal care, and communication - all while encouraging friendship, teamwork, and fun along the way.

Participants are asked to bring a snack, water bottle, and any requested program materials each week. Please help us do our part in protecting the environment by bringing a reusable container to transport your delicious creations home! Unless otherwise shared directly with Inclusion Services, recipes and ingredients are not selected with any dietary restrictions in mind.

An adapted environment is provided including smaller group sizes and increased group supervision, activities adapted to individual needs and goals, plus longer transition times. Participants must be able to participate successfully in a 1:5 staff to participant ratio.
