Description
This 1 hour class (with a class ratio of 10:1) builds strong swimming and lifesaving skills through 75 meter swims of each stroke, a 200 meter timed swim, and a 100 meter fitness medley. Participants develop proficiency in lifesaving sport techniques, including a lifesaving medley, timed object support, and rescue using a buoyant aid. First aid instruction focuses on assessing unconscious victims, treating shock, and managing obstructed airways. Through skill drills and simulated rescues, swimmers strengthen their foundation in water safety and non-contact rescue.
