Description
This one-day National Lifeguard Waterfront recertification course is designed to evaluate and refresh essential lifeguarding skills. Candidates must demonstrate physical competency by swimming 400m in 10 minutes or less, completing a 50m sprint in 60 seconds, and demonstrating rescue craft skills. The course also includes a series of individual and team-based rescue scenarios to assess readiness and decision-making under pressure. Successful completion ensures continued certification and preparedness for real-life lifeguarding situations.
Attendance: 100% attendance and Participation is required to be successful in this course.
Proof of Identity: Participants are required to present valid government-issued photo identification to the course instructor at the start of the course. Acceptable forms of ID include a Birth Certificate, Driver’s License, Passport, Permanent Resident Card, or other official government-issued identification.
