Description
The Lifesaving Society Swim Instructor Course equips candidates with the skills to teach and evaluate fundamental swim strokes and water safety techniques. Through hands-on training, participants explore effective teaching methods, stroke development drills, and correction strategies. The course covers instruction for all age groups, from preschoolers to adults, ensuring well-rounded teaching expertise.
Attendance: 100% attendance and Participation is required to be successful in this course.
Proof of Identity: Participants are required to present valid government-issued photo identification to the course instructor at the start of the course. Acceptable forms of ID include a Birth Certificate, Driver’s License, Passport, Permanent Resident Card, or other official government-issued identification.
Prerequisites: 15 years of age by the last day of the course, and Bronze Cross
Required Materials: Swim Instructor Binder
