NATIONAL LIFEGUARD (pool option)

Become a nationally certified lifeguard and gain the skills, knowledge, and confidence to ensure aquatic safety. This course focuses on developing strong leadership, communication, decision-making, and judgment in high-pressure situations. Master practical rescue techniques, teamwork, and advanced lifesaving strategies while meeting the challenge of a 400m swim in 10 minutes. Train to respond effectively to emergencies and take the next step in your professional lifeguarding career.

Attendance: 100% attendance and Participation is required to be successful in this course.

Proof of Identity: Participants are required to present valid government-issued photo identification to the course instructor at the start of the course. Acceptable forms of ID include a Birth Certificate, Driver’s License, Passport, Permanent Resident Card, or other official government-issued identification.

Prerequisites: 15 years old by the last of the course, Bronze Cross, and Standard First Aid from the Lifesaving Society or from a training agency approved by the Lifesaving Society click here for the approved list.
