Interested in pursuing the Lifesaving Society Leadership Program? This preparatory course introduces participants to many of the skills and First Aid knowledge required for Bronze Medallion, Bronze Cross, and National Lifeguard certifications.Upon successful completion, participants will receive an Intermediate First Aid & CPR C certification, which is a prerequisite for Bronze Cross and National Lifeguard courses. The program also includes an introduction to key physical skills to help participants prepare for future leadership training.Prerequisites:• Minimum 13 years of age by the last day of the course• Bronze Medallion certificationProof of qualifications must be submitted to qualifications@ajax.ca at least 5 days before the course start date.Important: Effective June 22, 2026, the course formerly known as Standard First Aid has been renamed Intermediate First Aid. Existing Standard First Aid certifications remain valid for 36 months from the original certification date.Attendance Requirement:100% attendance is mandatory. Leadership courses with mandatory attendance requirements will proceed as scheduled unless Town facilities are closed.
