Description
Learn the basics of guitar playing with all the good habits in place. You will learn the types, parts, handling, and tuning of guitars. You’ll then learn how to read music notation as well as tablature. Develop your performance skills, while playing several popular songs, in voluntary solo and group performances. Your new music reading skills will also be useful for learning other instruments. Please bring your own guitar. Workbooks by Strings Connected (stringsconnected.ca) are included and will be given in class.
