Abbotsford Restorative Justice and Advocacy Association (ARJAA) is celebrating 25 years of work in Abbotsford. Restorative justice contributes to the criminal justice system as an extra judiciary measure. It is accessible, compassionate and inclusive, and it provides meaningful outcomes when harm occurs. Restorative justice is an approach to justice that seeks to repair harm by providing an opportunity for those harmed and those who take responsibility for the harm to communicate about and address their needs in the aftermath of a crime.
