Enrollment opens June 6, 2026 at 9:00 a.m.Students will learn the rules of chess, key tactical concepts (checkmates, forks, pins), basic strategy, and simple endgames (king and queen; two rooks). Homework will reinforce class concepts, with difficulty adjusted to student skill levels. Drop-ins: $17.50, space permitting. No class Aug 2.
